Instalar Emesene 1.6.3 en Kubuntu 10.10

Este procedimiento lleva actualizacion chocolate es decir eson estables pero con adelantos de la nueva

Posdata es un de ubuntu ppa.launchpad.net

1. Modificamos la sources.list con este comando

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

2. Agregamos al final las siguientes lineas:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/bjfs/ppa/ubuntu maverick main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/bjfs/ppa/ubuntu maverick main

3. Agregamos la llave para que funcione en la terminal:

gpg –keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com –recv 0CC1223EE2314809
gpg –export –armor 0CC1223EE2314809 | sudo apt-key add -

4. Actualizamos la sources.list e instalamos:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install emesene

Si tenemos los repos, no agreges.. mas

Corregir Plymouth en Ubuntu 10.10

Abrimos un terminal y ejecutamos los siguientes comandos y modificaciones:

sudo apt-get install v86d

sudo gedit /etc/default/grub

Reemplazamos la línea 9

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet splash”

Por esto

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet splash nomodeset video=uvesafb:mode_option=1280×1024-24,mtrr=3,scroll=ywrap”

Reemplazamos la línea 23

#GRUB_GFXMODE=640×480

Por esto

GRUB_GFXMODE=1280×1024

sudo gedit /etc/initramfs-tools/modules

Agregamos al final y guardamos los cambios

uvesafb mode_option=1280×1024-24 mtrr=3 scroll=ywrap

echo FRAMEBUFFER=y | sudo tee /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash

sudo update-grub2

sudo update-initramfs -u
